Lined Ball Valve Installation And Usage Instructions

Before installing and using a Lined Ball Valve, a pre-installation inspection and a switching test must be performed. Installation and use should only be performed when the valve is operating normally.
1. When installing a pneumatic eccentric semi-ball valve, ensure the valve is as concentric as possible with the pipeline flange and secure it with supports. Avoid subjecting the valve to external forces to prevent damage to the valve's center seal and deformation, which could result in malfunctioning or damage to the valve, rendering it unusable.
2. Ensure that the power air supply to the pneumatic eccentric semi-ball valve and pneumatic components is clean and as free of oil and water as possible. The cleanliness level should be less than 0.4 microns.
3. Before connecting the air supply, clean the air supply line, air source interface, and switches to prevent dirt and sand from entering the pneumatic actuator due to unclean piping and causing malfunctions. 4. Copper or nylon tubing can be used to connect pneumatic actuators, solenoid valves, positioners, filters, and pressure reducing valves. To prevent dust and reduce noise, a muffler or throttle valve should be installed at the exhaust port.
5. After installation, test the pneumatic eccentric semi-ball valve. Pressurize the pneumatic actuator to the rated pressure of 0.4-0.7 MPa. Perform a switching test on the pneumatic eccentric semi-ball valve and observe its opening and closing behavior. It should rotate smoothly without any sticking. If the switch sticks, increase the air pressure and repeatedly open and close the valve until it opens and closes smoothly.
6. When installing and debugging a switch-type pneumatic eccentric semi-ball valve, first perform the test using the manual device (manual button on the solenoid valve). Once the valve is operating normally, power on the valve for debugging.
7. Pneumatic eccentric semi-ball valves require regular maintenance. The valve stem should be lubricated (engine oil) every three months. Regularly drain the pneumatic actuator and the associated air filter. Under normal circumstances, it should be inspected once every six months and overhauled once a year.
