A Brief Discussion On The Material Of Ptfe Lined Valves
In modern industry, many factories produce Lined Valve using PTFE lining materials, including thermoplastic engineering plastics, silicate glass, ceramics, etc. With the development of the plastics industry, fluoroplastics, as a new material that is extremely corrosion-resistant, have been widely used in the field of PTFE lining valves.
With the development of technology, some units have used F3 and F4 as anti-corrosion materials for lining PTFE valves and have achieved certain success. However, due to certain defects of F3, its application is not very wide. Although F4 has strong corrosion resistance and is widely used as sealing rings, packing, etc. in valves, its process problems are difficult to solve as a lining for metal bodies with complex geometric shapes. Some units have adopted the method of F4 thin-walled loose lining, but this can only be used for some simple cylindrical parts, and it cannot be slightly negatively pressurized during use. There are also some F4 tubular wafer valves, which are often not very long in service life due to the lack of heat in design. It can be seen that my country still needs to make more efforts in the application of PTFE lining valve materials, so that more durable and corrosion-resistant valves can be developed.
