How to choose the material of lined for Lined Valve?

(1) Polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE (F4)
Applicable medium: any organic solvent or reagent, dilute or concentrated inorganic acid, alkali, alcohol, ketone, aromatic hydrocarbon, chlorinated hydrocarbon, etc. Working temperature: ≤200℃
Features: PTFE has good high temperature resistance, can be used at -250 ℃ ~ 260 ℃, long-term wear resistance is good, static friction coefficient is the smallest among plastics, and self-lubricating performance is excellent; excellent electrical insulation performance, and is not affected by working environment, Influenced by temperature, temperature and frequency, it has good arc resistance and excellent chemical corrosion resistance. Except for fluorine element and molten alkali metal under high temperature and high pressure, it has an erosive effect on it, and some halogenated amines or aromatic hydrocarbons make it corrosive. In addition to slight swelling, others such as strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidants, greases, ketones, ethers, and intoxicants do not work on it even at high temperatures.

(2) Polyperfluoroethylene propylene FEP (F46)
Applicable medium: any organic solvent or reagent, dilute or concentrated inorganic acid, alkali, ketone, aromatic hydrocarbon, chlorinated hydrocarbon, etc. Working temperature≤150℃.
Features: Mechanical, electrical properties and chemical stability are basically the same as F4, but the outstanding advantage is high impact toughness. Even with notched specimens, it can continue to rush, and it has excellent weather resistance and radiation resistance. It is easy to form and process. It is a fluorine-containing resin developed to overcome the difficulties of polytetrafluoroethylene forming and processing. Except for the use temperature lower than F4, the other parts maintain the excellent performance of polytetrafluoroethylene.

(3) Soluble polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA)
Applicable medium: strong acid, strong base, strong fluorinating agent, organic solvent, etc. Working temperature≤180℃.
Features: A new type of fluorine-containing resin similar to F46, a new variety developed in order to overcome the difficulties of PTFE processing and molding, and completely maintain the excellent properties of PTFE. Good mechanical and electrical insulation properties, outstanding heat resistance and low friction properties, flame retardant, low smoke, and good atmospheric resistance. The biggest advantage is that it is easy to form and process.

(4) Polychlorotrifluoroethylene PCTFE (F3)
Applicable medium: various solvents and inorganic corrosive liquids (oxidant acids). Working temperature≤120℃.
Features: disaster resistance, electrical properties and chemical stability are second only to F4, and mechanical strength, creep resistance and hardness are better than F4.

(5) Polyethylene difluoride PCTFE (F2)
Applicable medium: resistant to most chemical media and solvents. Working temperature≤120℃.
Features: Tensile strength and compressive strength are better than F4, good wear resistance and cold flow: weather resistance, radiation resistance and aging resistance, etc., and the biggest feature is large adhesion, good toughness, easy to form.

(6) Reinforced polypropylene (FRPP)
Applicable medium: aqueous solution of inorganic salts, dilute or concentrated solution of inorganic acids and alkalis. Working temperature≤120℃.
Features: It is one of the plastics of Jingliang. Its yield, tensile and compressive strength and hardness are better than low pressure polyethylene. It has outstanding rigidity, good heat resistance and easy molding. After modification
High impact, fluidity and flexural modulus of elasticity.

(7) Modified polyolefin (PO)
Applicable medium: various concentrations of acid, alkali, salt and some organic solvents. Working temperature≤110℃.
Features: It is the most ideal anti-corrosion, anti-static, non-toxic and high-strength high-quality material in the world. It has been widely used as lining for large-scale equipment and valve pipes that have been widely rotated. Widely used in chemical, metallurgy, food, textile and other industries.
(Q) Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW PE)
Applicable medium: Corrosive medium (acid, alkali, salt, except oxidizing acid) and organic solvent. Working temperature: ≤100℃.
Features: Outstanding wear resistance, low friction coefficient and self-lubrication: excellent stress crack resistance, high temperature creep resistance; excellent tensile strength, extremely high impact strength. It has excellent chemical stability; no adsorption force on the surface, excellent electrical insulation; no toxicity and other comprehensive properties.

Users can choose different lining materials according to working conditions and temperature
