How To Detect The Quality Of Wafer-type Fluorine-lined Butterfly Valves
Lined Butterfly Valve is a fluorine-lined butterfly valve with a clamp connection. It is a new type of butterfly valve. The fluorine-lined butterfly valve is also called a fluorine plastic lined corrosion-resistant butterfly valve. It is a polytetrafluoroethylene resin (or processed profile) placed on the inner wall of the steel or iron valve pressure-bearing part (the same method is applicable to the lining of various pressure vessels and pipeline accessories) or the outer surface of the valve internals by molding (or inlaying) method, and its performance in resisting strong corrosive media is used to make various valves and pressure vessels. At present, as an important component for realizing the on-off and flow control of pipeline systems, the fluorine-lined butterfly valve has been widely used in many fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, hydropower, etc. In addition, in the known butterfly valve technology, the sealing form mostly adopts a sealing structure, and the sealing material is mostly rubber and polytetrafluoroethylene and other materials with good sealing properties. Although such a design can ensure the sealing performance of the valve, it is limited by the structural characteristics and cannot adapt to high temperature, high pressure, strong corrosion and high wear industries. A relatively popular fluorine-lined butterfly valve is a three-eccentric metal hard-sealed butterfly valve. The valve body and valve seat are connected components, and the valve seat sealing surface layer is welded with heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy materials. The multi-layer soft stacking seal ring is fixed on the valve plate. Compared with the traditional butterfly valve, this butterfly valve has the advantages of high temperature resistance, easy operation, no friction when opening and closing, and the seal is compensated as the torque of the transmission mechanism increases when closing, which greatly improves the sealing performance of the butterfly valve and extends its service life.
Before using the wafer-type fluorine-lined butterfly valve, a quality inspection must be carried out. A valve with poor quality will affect the operation of the entire pipeline system. The quality inspection of the wafer-type fluorine-lined butterfly valve is usually divided into two categories, one is the unpacking inspection, and the other is the professional inspection. The unpacking inspection is mainly to check the quantity, model, specification, surface damage, etc.; while the professional inspection is to conduct air pressure test and air tightness test on the valve. Only the wafer-type fluorine-lined butterfly valve that passes both the unpacking inspection and the professional inspection is a qualified valve.
