In today's various industries, the role played by Lined Valve is becoming increasingly important. The regulation and cutting off of the medium have continuously expanded its market size. Each type of valve has significant differences in its driving method, applicable environment, control accuracy, and installation method. Based on different performance, choose appropriate valve products according to the actual situation to ensure the normal operation of the system.
Regarding this, we can mention the testing and installation operation of PTFE lined valves. As is well known, valves such as PTFE lined butterfly valves have greatly enhanced corrosion resistance due to their special materials, far superior to other types of valve products, and their testing and installation also have their own particularities. Before installation, confirm whether the performance of our product and the flow direction arrow of the medium are consistent with the operating conditions, and clean the inner cavity of the PTFE lined valve. It is not allowed to have impurities or foreign objects on the sealing ring and butterfly plate. The butterfly plate must not be closed before cleaning to avoid damaging the sealing ring. It is recommended to use a special flange for PTFE lined disc valves for the installation of disc plates. It should be installed in a vertical position in the pipeline, but not inverted. During use, it is necessary to adjust the flow rate, which is controlled by a worm gear box. For PTFE lined butterfly valves with a high frequency of opening and closing, after about two months, open the worm gear box cover and check if the butter is normal, and maintain an appropriate amount of butter. Check that all connecting parts are tightly pressed to ensure the honeycomb properties of the packing and the flexible rotation of the valve stem. PTFE lined butterfly valves are not suitable for installation at the end of pipelines. If they must be installed at the end of pipelines, it is necessary to install outlet flanges to prevent the accumulation of sealing rings. The installation and use of valve stems should be checked regularly to ensure the effectiveness of PTFE lined valves. Any faults found should be promptly resolved.
