What Is A Lined Ball Valve?
Lined Ball Valve is a new generation of high-performance ball valves suitable for long-distance pipelines and general industrial pipelines. Its design incorporates special considerations for strength, safety, and environmental resistance, making it suitable for use with a variety of corrosive and non-corrosive media. Compared to floating ball valves, during operation, the force exerted by the fluid pressure in front of the valve is fully transmitted to the bearings, preventing the ball from moving toward the valve seat. Consequently, the valve seat is protected from excessive pressure. This results in low torque, minimal seat deformation, stable sealing performance, and a long service life, making it suitable for high-pressure, large-diameter applications. The trunnion-mounted ball valve is available in two-piece and three-piece body configurations. The center flange is bolted together, and the seal is made of reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene embedded in a stainless steel ring. A spring at the rear of the ring ensures a tight seal between the valve seat and the ball.
