Polytetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as the "plastic king", was industrialized in 1949. From the perspective of industrial application, it has a history of more than 50 years, but it has not been widely used in the valve industry for a long time. The polytetrafluoroethylene lined valve uses a lining process for all places in the valve body that the medium can reach. The lining material generally uses fluoroplastics such as FEP and PCTFE. It can be used for pipelines of various concentrations of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia, various organic acids, strong acids, strong oxidants and other corrosive media. No matter what equipment, some symptoms will appear more or less after a period of use, and PTFE-lined valves are no exception. If the hand wheel of the PTFE-lined valve is not flexible, loosen the gland nut appropriately. If it is still not flexible, the gland may be skewed and needs to be adjusted.
