Storage And Installation Of Fluorine-lined Ball Valves

Correct storage and installation Lined Ball Valve can extend the service life of the valve. Therefore, the following points must be noted:
1. Storage of fluorine-lined ball valves.
(1) When storing fluorine-lined ball valves, they should be placed in a dry room, away from open sun and rain, and avoid being stacked near heat sources to prevent aging and deformation of fluoroplastics. The fluoroplastic flange sealing surfaces at both ends should have protective covers, and the sealing surfaces must not be scratched. When stacking, the flange sealing surfaces at both ends should be kept away from pressure.
(2) Valves stored and kept should be recorded, including: valve name, model, specification, number, quantity, storage date, etc.
2. Installation of fluorine-lined ball valves.
(1) During installation, pay attention to check whether the valve markings (such as valve type, nominal diameter, pressure rating, material, etc.) are consistent with the use requirements, and whether the flow direction marking on the shell is consistent with the pipeline flow direction.
(2) During installation, try to install it horizontally with the valve stem facing upward. To prevent the valve from tilting, install the valve in a natural state. To prevent the valve from generating large installation stress due to the pipe, support, etc., do not use the handwheel to lift the valve during installation. (3) During installation, if the pipe flange sealing surface connected to the fluoroplastic lining sealing surface at both ends of the valve is metal, a fluoroplastic sealing gasket must be added. (4) If the pipeline has sufficient strength to withstand the weight and operating torque of the valve, the valve can be installed without support. Otherwise, a special support should be installed for the fluoroplastic lining valve. (5) After installation, when the system or pipeline is pressure tested, the valve must be in the fully open position.
